Why do you dance?
“To express myself and to communicate a message using what God gave me. It’s also great exercise and a great stress reliever. To think that you can go to a place with just yourself and (usually) some music, and simply let go and put it on the floor is what keeps me dancing. It’s our job to keep the artform alive for the right reasons– for the love of it and the desire to see it grow and flourish.”

“1. I LOVE giraffes.
2. I can’t sleep with socks on. If I do, I’ll wake up with them off.
3. Since I was 7, I still secretly desire to be a deejay, wax munkiee, whatever they call it these days.
4. I have an obsession with spicy food and condiments. I collect hot sauce. =) ”

Most memorable moment while on PAC Modern:
“My first performance with PAC Modern @ Friendship Games 2007. Tieing for 1st place with Choreo Cookies at WOD Pomona 2009. Best reactions ever! And probably any PAC Camp session… the kids always make it worthwhile. WAIT and all PAC Modern retreats/trips out of town– those are the BEST and most *ahem… “memorable”.”

Most embarrassing moment while on PAC Modern:
“I can’t think of a specific time… but I’m pretty clumsy so I trip on and run into a lot of things. And I break chairs at Hazard. And beer pong tables made out of mirror. And Sonny likes to injure me at retreats, I still have scars. Also, after a long night of fun with modern, I can wake up with pieces of art on my body (i.e., finding a huge butterfly on my back, THANKS TABS).”
